All vehicles are required to have a valid MOT test. The first MOT test is required when a vehicle is 3 years old (one year old if the vehicle is used as a Taxi)

The elements of the vehicle checked during the MOT test include:

Lights/electrical elements Washers/wipers Windscreen Seatbelts and seat security Doors Towbars including wiring (if fitted) Mirrors Steering/suspension

Brakes Wheels/tyres Fuel system Registration plates/VIN number Exhaust system Emissions General vehicle condition
